Out of the suburbs of Los Angeles, California, Sopädia has carved out his own space in the bass music scene by combining his love for chest rattling bass with his instinct for intricate rhythms and a unique blend of weird, wonky, and slightly colorful sound design. As a word, Sopädia describes the feeling of being in the crowd at a festival and the way music can create a sense of oneness and belonging. From the heads banging in the front to the heads bobbing in the back, Sopädia is for anyone and everyone to feel welcome, especially those who never truly do. Everyone is a Sopädian, whether they know it or not. With a love of science fiction and a degree in screenwriting, Sopädia bridges together the alien with the human in Sopädia, the Space Bandit, who travels the universe with his trusty three-eyed monkey, Alëth, in search of music to bring back to Earth.
