Before starting his own consulting business he spent more than a decade at Deloitte Consulting in New York and was President of Kotter International.
He is also the first person to swim the cold 7.4km open-water Atlantic ocean crossing from Robben Island to Cape Town backstroke with nothing but a speedo unassisted.
