AWD Transit Overland is about journeys exploring remote places by van. Follow along with Jim and Katya Preston as they push the edge of what people think AWD vans can do. It gets scary at times. They tackle easy dirt roads to sometimes gnarly 4x4 trails that are seriously challenging to get past obstacles and see what is on the other side.

Overlanding means a journey exploring and camping in remote places, usually on dirt roads and trails, and sometimes off-roading through gnar. Off-roading is short duration on difficult or technical trails and not a journey. A road trip is primarily on pavement to popular destinations.
Jim Preston has over 50 years of overlanding and road trips in CA, AK, UT, CO, WY, NV, AZ, Mexico, Canada, and the Russian Far East. Katya has an extensive 30 years of such trips.
