Reverend on the Road
We are a California retired couple who turned our lives upside down when we left city life for an acre of undeveloped land in Northeast Texas. Taking an acre of overgrown land, clearing it, and turning it into a livable homestead. There have been a number of difficulties, challenges and surprises. We had no idea what we would face.
We are building a little village of cottages out of wooden sheds. Instead of each building being one tiny home, each building is a room in a home, just spread out. In time, the buildings will all connect via deck walkways and awnings. We are learning new things everyday as we build new cottages, develop the property, and daily upkeep of the land.
We went from a few stray cats who had kittens, and those kittens had kittens. We are now up to 31 cats/kittens. The one benefit to having cats is our mice and rat population has been taken care of.
All in all, the Lord has been with us, and the blessings have been numerous.
