Updike realized his passion for real estate in the late 1980s while investing in the recovering real estate market. He was named Rookie of the Year in his first year. Pugh began his real estate career in high school, working for a local real estate broker. After college, he worked in marketing for one of Texas' largest automotive dealerships, where he learned firsthand the power of staying ahead of the curve with technology and the importance of a strong reputation.
