Sam Forencich
Thanks for visiting my channel. I studied film in college but opportunities sent me in the direction of still photography where I've made a living since 1981. I started as a staff newspaper photographer in the SF Bay Area and have spent the past 25 years doing contract photography for the National Basketball Association. While that experience behind the camera has served me well, I find myself drawn to film and it's potential for storytelling and artistic expression.
In many ways this channel will serve to represent my personal journey as a student of film making. I make no apologies or excuses, but I'm learning as I go and putting it out there for anyone that might be interested. Over the years I've come to realize that curiosity is creative force that should be recognized and pursued. This will serve as my guiding principle going forward.
