ALOHA AND WELCOME TO THE LOKOMAI LIFE. From missing people to mental health... I am extremely passionate about giving a voice to missing children and adults, ensuring they are heard and not forgotten.
Whether it be anxiety, depression, PTSD or just ways to better ourselves I find it very rewarding to discuss mental health and self help topics with my YouTube Ohana (family).
My name Lokomai is shortened from Lokomaika''i. When I graduated from college my parents gave me one of the greatest gifts in my life...a Hawaiian name, one which they felt truly described the woman I had become. They spoke with a couple of native Hawaiian speakers and settled on Lokomaika'i. A word which means "to act with generosity and kindness towards others". Interestingly this is something I have always tried to live by and I treasure the name as I treasure my family and friends.
