OTE Runna, born Christopher J. Proctor in Decatur GA, is an emerging hip hop artist shaped by heritage, hustle, and a life split between the streets and the studio. Raised by a single mother with three sisters, he began recording at age 11 under mentor Cedric Lyons and was performing across Atlanta by his teens. After dropping out in 9th grade, he rebuilt his life through Job Corps, earned his GED, mastered the maintenance trade, and traveled the country working on advanced machinery, using every dollar to invest in his music. He later founded Keep Money Financial, helping people nationwide secure homes, cars, business funding, and over one million dollars in client assets in 2025. At 18, he learned his father is T Double of DFC, connecting him to a powerful Midwest lineage through Al Breed and industry veteran Rodney Gee. Their guidance inspired him to launch Obligated to Eat Records and move independently as both artist and label owner.
