A Mic In The Attic is a brain-child of mine. I woke up in the middle of the night and had a vision of this crazy YouTube video series where we shot and recorded local musicians in their most creative situations. This could be a closet, stairwell, shower, a field in the middle of nowhere...or even an attic.
The goal of this series is to capture and share the rawness of the artists in the simplest form. This is not a place for perfection. It's all about the process and evolution of the songs and their meanings. No clean pretty studios, no perfect studios. No perfect acoustics. You may hear bee's buzzing, cars passing, birds chirping. and even sometimes people! Its about capturing the emotion of a song and its creators in the environment where that little dream of a song was hatched. Just one mic...one take...and raw emotion.Entertainment
