Vintage Features
Vintage Features is committed to preserving, restoring, and sharing vintage and regional films that capture the cultural fabric of Appalachia and beyond. As a branch of the Mountain Roots Project, our mission is to bring forgotten reels back to life—highlighting independent productions, historical footage, local documentaries, and rare cinematic artifacts.
From small-town stories to overlooked treasures, each film we present offers a unique glimpse into the lives, voices, and visions that shaped communities. We believe in the power of film as a cultural record—and as a tool for education, reflection, and connection.
