The Red Thistle Dancers - Scottish Dancing & Music
The Red Thistle Dancers are a Scottish Country Dancing and Highland Dance Performance Group based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Formed in 1973, under Artistic Director Jennifer Kelly, they are one of the longest running Scottish Country Dance performance groups in northern California, performing at community events, private functions, fairs & celebrations, the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival and at international festivals throughout the world.
The Red Thistle Dancers have produced a unique video series, "Scottish Country Dancing with the Red Thistle Dancers, Parts 1 & 2" and "Performance Dancing with the Red Thistle Dancers" which can be purchased in DVD or digital download format at redthistledancers.org/shop.
