Front Yard Concerts started during the Covid quarantine of 2020 when we were all confined to our homes and musicians found themselves unemployed. What began with 2 socially-distanced shows in my front yard has become an annual concert series
that has received praise from local media outlets such as The Dallas Observer, KERA public radio, and CW33's Morning After show (https://cw33.com/dallas-pride-parade-2023/live-music-is-back-in-dallas-thanks-to-one-mans-front-yard/). We have shows every Sunday from April through August.
We are partially funded by the Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, but because we believe in paying musicians a fair wage, we rely on audience contributions to help pay for our shows.
