Born in Atlanta and raised between Southern Georgia and Michigan, Stevenson Scott is a country singer‑songwriter shaped by faith, family, and decades of lived experience. His artist name — a flip of his given name, Scott Stevenson Davis — marks a new chapter rooted in heritage and honesty.
He picked up a guitar at 11 and never put it down. In college, he fronted Void Where Prohibited, a rock cover band with close friends, while also launching Scott Davis and Kickin’ Country, a Detroit‑based country band that opened for national acts and showcased his original songs.
In the late ’90s he moved to Nashville to chase the songwriter dream, eventually settling in Jacksonville, Florida in 2000. Life, family, and career took the wheel for a while — but the music never left.
Now, with his sons grown and a renewed sense of purpose, Stevenson Scott returns with heartfelt originals, acoustic performances, and stories from a lifetime of writing and living.
