Garden mostly, and weather. I converted my backyard suburban lawn to garden. You'll find a hugelkultur, backyard orchard, vertical garden, herb spiral and other garden elements featured. These days the storms come to us; I live on a hilltop with a great vantage point, so we get to see it all and share it with you.
I play in my backyard garden in the Midwest of the United States USDA Zone 4-5, depending on the map. The microclimates in my sanctuary range from zone 4a-6a. My AHS Heat Zone is 2. My Koppen Climate Type is Dfa, Humid Continental. My soil type is on the loamy side of clay.
