Zahir
Zahir is a Washington, D.C. born multi-hyphenate artist, director, and musician. He started his career as a visual director, directing commercials for Ray-Ban, his musical short film 'Unusual', and his first international campaign with LIDS and rapper IDK.
Since, he has met and learned under major influences such as IDK, Joey Bada$$, Saba, and Baby Keem, among others - many of whom have since become active collaborators in his creative world. His debut album 'What If the Blind Woman Saved Him' (2025) accumulated over 2.3 million Spotify streams alone, earning recognition from Billboard and Black Enterprise.
Now, Zahir returns with 'Happy Weight' - his sophomore album and first fully realized project. A sonic landscape of alternative rap, soft yacht rock, and heartbreak, Happy Weight sees many of his aforementioned mentors step into the creative world alongside him, marking his true arrival as a world-building, genre-blending recording artist. First single arriving January 2027.
