ARKTA
ARKTA is an alternative rock duo based between Los Angeles and Tokyo, formed by vocalist Tak and producer/multi-instrumentalist kenken. Drawing from nu-metal, emo, metalcore and alternative rock, their sound combines heavy guitars, melody, electronic textures and emotional storytelling.
In 2021, ARKTA contributed “Keep Me Alive” and “Damaging You” to NITRO CHiRAL’s visual novel Slow Damage. They made their live debut at the sold-out CHiRAL LIVE 2022 × Slow Damage in Tokyo, followed by performances in Japan and Los Angeles, two self-produced EPs, Japan tours, and appearances at Tokyo Calling and In The Family Fest. In 2026, ARKTA performed at THE CHiRAL NIGHT at Omiya Sonic City and held their first sold-out one-man concert in Shibuya.
Their debut album, The Untold Story of Someone, arrives worldwide September 30, 2026. Its 10 songs explore different emotions and the stories of different “someones” — real or imagined. It marks the culmination of ARKTA’s first chapter.
