MCDVIII
MCDVIII is an experimental electronic music project by Italo Guimas, inspired by synthwave and synthpop. (1408 in Roman numerals). The name comes from angelic number of transformation that followed me everywhere for a decade. It was a constant presence that finally found its purpose when I launched the project in 2023.
Since its debut, MCDVIII has released conceptual works, including Hope, Pyrophant, and Neon Dreams. The project has reached millions of streams across platforms.
The project seeks to reflect consciousness and the subconscious as Honestly as possible. Inspirations come through dreams, everyday moments and lived experiences. Music became a way to transform those emotions and motivations into something tangible.
