I’m Alison, living alone on a small permaculture farm in rural France — by choice, not by default.
This isn’t a channel about how to live your life. There are plenty of people doing that already.
It’s more like a kitchen table: I bring an idea, a question, an irritation or something that’s been nagging at me, and we have a think about it. Sometimes it’s funny. Sometimes it’s thoughtful. Occasionally it’s both.
I talk about independence, identity, living alone, getting older, relationships, the absurdities of everyday life and the things nobody seems to say out loud. The garden, animals and life in rural France inevitably wander in too.
I’m not here to hand you an instructional pamphlet or tell you what to think.
Maybe you’ll laugh. Maybe you’ll think. Maybe you’ll see something familiar from a slightly different angle.
Take what resonates. Ignore what doesn’t.
