The Contradiction
The Contradiction is a metal duo based in the Czech Republic, with members originally from Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Its music is heavily influenced by progressive metalcore, oriental metal and blackened deathcore. Lyrically it's being mostly inspired by the grimdark future of Warhammer 40,000 universe, with recent expansion further into current reality, reflecting on human nature, its habit to harm and cripple itself.
The band has worked on their music together with Dmitry Demyanenko (Shokran), Sergey Raev (ex-[AMATORY]), Alan Grnja (Distant), Jacob Wallace (ex-Brojob) and many others, shaping diverse musical perspective. The Contradiction has also shared stage with Rings of Saturn (USA), Shokran (RU), Traitors (USA), Lotus Eater (UK), The Voynich Code (PT) and Marina (CZ) across Europe and beyond.
