Box Performance builds performance engines. Owned and operated by the Box Family. Gary Box started the company 50 years ago and is a local legend in Ohio known for a lifetime of engine building and fast cars. Gary's son Cory and wife, Margaret came on board and as the company grew. We build custom engines and rebuilds for American muscle cars. Box Performance is also home to the Boxvette. The Boxvette started out life winning Ohio's Fastest Street Car in 2001 going 8.19 in the 1/4 mile before most street cars were going that fast. Along the way the Boxvette won 2 Car Craft Dyno Challenges and a few ISCA Car Show Awards. The Boxvette won Roadkill Nights 2017, took 2nd place in 2018, Cash Days, took 2nd place in a pro mode race and got a chance to run on Memphis Street Outlaws twice.
