North Jersey Civil War Round Table
The North Jersey Civil War Round Table (NJCWRT) is one of the largest Civil War Round Tables. We are known for the caliber of our speakers and our membership participation. We stress the military/socio/economic aspects of the Civil War and its lasting legacy. Our members include noted historians, teachers, scholars, members of the judiciary, professionals and others who are interested in the Civil War. We now have members from 11 states, as well as from Australia and Venezuela.
We hold monthly meetings where a distinguished speaker discusses some topic related to the Civil War. Our speakers have included two Pulitzer Prize winners, James M. McPherson and Eric Foner, as well as renowned authors, professors and historians.
We also have a monthly members-only Book Group as well as a members-only Trivia Time.
All of our meetings are on Zoom.
