Tablefox Band
Tablefox, the powerhouse of New Zealand Alt-rock, has seen extraordinary success in recent years, propelled by their defining album Battles. The band formed out of a combined love for seminal artists from 70's and 80's music such as The Cars, David Bowie, Echo & the Bunnymen, The Cure, Crowded House, Dinosaur Jr. & The Cult.
Known for their electrifying performances and having shared stages with icons like James, The Charlatans, Ash, Big Country, stellar* , the feelers and Inspiral Carpets, they have carved a significant niche in the music scene.
In February 2023, Tablefox launched the single Mother alongside a sold-out tour supporting Irish legends Ash. Their subsequent release in July 2023, Only a Matter of Time coincided with their support slot on Inspiral Carpets NZ Tour.
In March 2024 the band released Don't Wait for Me to Be What You Want Me to Be, the song immediately resonated with audiences and has held a spot in the NZ Rock Chart Top 20 for an entire year.
