The Rick & Teena Funk Phenomenon is the Top 80's Funk Tribute of its’ kind dedicated to late 70’s and 80’s Funk led by performer extraordinaire Joel Simpson as Rick James and 4 Octive Vocalist Becky Moon as Teena Marie. The show not only tells the story of the Most Iconic R&B Couple of all time Rick James and Teena Marie, but pays tribute to the Phenomenon that is FUNK including music from the King of Funk, George Clinton & Parliament to the music from the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, songs from Smokey Robinson to Sly & the Family Stone, the Mary Jane Girls and much more. The show is for all ages, it's a major production from authentic costumes to videos, high energy dancing, heart-throbbing emotion, interactive audience participation, all performed by top musicians and performers on the West Coast.
