Forming officially in 2019 the title track on their debut EP ‘The Premise’ on Detroit Swindle’s Heist Recordings was nominated as Track Of The Year at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards. By the end of 2020 Kassian self-released their ‘Versions’ series, a vinyl only edits label which debuted at no. 6 in Phonica’s Top-10 Singles of the Year with multiple represses since. Kassian are now pushing their sound through the vessel of their 2022 imprint 'Faux Poly' established in their '38East' studio. The debut EP 'Chance is Our Greatest Ally' was released early 2022 to an acclaimed reception setting the foundation for the label and kicking off an event series with Percolate. Kassian's credentials as well-informed selectors has been cultivated out of their monthly residency at independent radio station Balamii Radio via their hugely popular show every third Wednesday of the month with guests such as MR.G, Cinthie, Dam Swindle, Laurence Guy, Tereza & more
