For 15–20 years, I’ve dedicated my life to independent multimedia production focused on the fire service, especially the Wheeling Fire Department and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire. What began in the mid-2000s with a camera at a local house fire became a commitment to documenting emergency responses, fire apparatus, IAFF firefighters, and working incidents through photography and video.
I’ve produced 265 firefighter tribute and documentation videos in a cinematic, music-driven style. Many feature footage I filmed myself; others were created with department collaboration or curated with consent through my Code 99 Firefighter Tributes platform, shaping raw media into cohesive editorial tributes.
My classical music training shapes my editing through pacing, structure, rhythm, and emotional arc.
