ROTUNDO
Raised on his grandparent’s farm in Ohio, ROTUNDO grew up singing and playing piano as a hobby, until high school graduation when he joined the US Army to serve four years on active duty. Growing up in an environment wherein country music was king, but listening to other genres was considered cool, ROTUNDO discovered his love for other genre’s early on and found himself particularly inspired by R&B melodies vocally.
ROTUNDO’s country roots are evident in his music as he brings a modern western-inspired sound that he describes as, “Screen-door R&B”. Packaging his singer-songwriter/country lyricism in an art-focused vision – each song released adding another brush stroke to the canvas of his soundscape – ROTUNDO releases music that is founded on his unique writing sensibility. Pushing phrasing and melodic boundaries throughout each song, ROTUNDO’s music pays homage to his pop, alt-rock and hip-hop influences and continues to elevate ROTUNDO’s vision and expression of his artistry.
