Kid Riko
Born DeLeón Tolbert and known for his modern old school sound, rapper and record producer Kid Riko was raised in Tuskegee, AL. A vocal opponent to the "loudness war" of the industry, Kid Riko takes a different approach when it comes to mixing and mastering a record by prioritizing dynamic range and clarity over sheer volume.
He recorded his first track while attending Auburn University in 2009. Kid Riko initially wanted to only write songs and rap, but eventually began to produce his own tracks by 2014 using his brief experience of being in his middle school band as a foundation for musical composition.
Kid Riko showcased his pen game by participating in freestyle competitions and talent shows that took place on Auburn University's campus later into fall '09 through 2010.음악
