Long threatened, finally inflicted: Guitar Is Dead, a forum intended to serve as a portal to all the worlds of guitar. We aim to aggregate the ever-growing threads of guitar-based or guitar-inclusive music, from rock in all forms. GID will serve as a big cozy umbrella for guitar stylings of any imaginable sort and practitioners and standard bearers of every stripe.
A significant section will be devoted to the mighty Hiwatt amp — past, present and future — being one of the most important tools of Pete Townshend, our spirit guide as perhaps the greatest catalyst of rock guitar composition, showmanship, daring and sheer power.
