Three years ago, facing retirement, I chose this place as my refuge. This is a place where civilization and wilderness coexist.
I still maintain a mixed lifestyle, a mixture of city life and country life. I'm still clumsy at everything. My strength isn't what it used to be. I'm experiencing a level of labor I couldn't handle alone. I'm grateful for the warm, caring hands of my kind neighbors. My journey back to nature has begun. I intend to record, even if only fragments, the countless stories unfolding along the way.
