ElectricCiné
Meet ElectricCiné: a duo of movie buffs and filmmakers who hail from Scranton, PA (“The Electric City”). The pair first collaborated in the 2018 short film “Ghosted” and has been writing, producing, and directing together from that moment on!
James (he/him) knew he wanted to make movies ever since seeing Jurassic Park at age 6. Throughout high school and college he would film short narrative projects in between theatre productions. While he appreciates every form of artistic expression – especially music, video games, and theatre – his cin-amore remains his true passion. He has a BA in Theatre, and a Certificate from NYU in Film and TV Industry Essentials.
Lindsey (she/her) unofficially began her filmmaking career in middle school, when she dressed up in costumes with friends and recorded their scripted antics – including episodes of Blues Clues – on a camcorder. In addition to making movies, she currently pursues a PhD in literature and film.
