Delaware County Historical Society
Delaware County Historical Society (DCHS) has been the premier stewards of Delaware County’s (Delco) history and culture for nearly 130 years. We are the only 501(c)3 of its kind in Delco with a mission is to collect, protect and preserve the history and culture of Delaware County, making it accessible to all through strong educational outreach. DCHS has a responsibility to provide historic preservation resources to other groups and to promote significant historic events unique to each of Delco’s 49 boroughs and townships. A core pillar of DCHS is also to help foster community ties through local historic programming that brings together multiple groups and communities to reflect on our history and to imagine our future.
