You are about to enjoy one of YouTube's biggest archives of marching band performances from the 1960s through today! This channel was created by the University of Memphis Alumni Association's Band Chapter to preserve and share archived video footage of the University of Memphis (formerly Memphis State University) Mighty Sound of the South Marching Band. Most of what you'll see are converted 16mm films and Betamax videotapes of performance taken from the press box at the Liberty Bowl and other stadiums visited by the band. Included are some great videos taken at rehearsals and in the stands.
This is also the place to find videos of high school bands that have performed at our annual competition, The Bandmasters Championship, plus other high school bands from Tennessee and Kentucky.음악
