Shannon M. Cornthwaite, MA, NCC, ASDI is a neurodiversity-affirming mental health therapist, educator, author, and creator of the Neighborhood Model of Neurorestorative Care, a developmental approach emphasizing psychological safety, authentic relationships, and restorative experiences. He holds degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Clinical Counseling with certificates in Criminal Justice and Child & Adolescent Counseling while specializing in work with neurodivergent adults. As a late-diagnosed autistic adult with ADHD & BPD, a husband, father of neurodivergent children, and lifelong member of the goth and punk communities, Shannon combines professional expertise with lived experience.
