The BulgeBuster
It has been over 81+ years since the brave young men of Company H, 2nd Battalion, 291st Regiment, of the 75th Infantry Division of the US Army during WWII went from being coined "The Diaper Division" to the "BulgeBusters". These guys were the youngest fighters of the war with their average age being 19. They were just kids that had poor training, summer uniforms for winter battle, very little food & supplies & yet, against all odds, they pushed back the Nazis out of France then went through Holland & crossed the Rhine River on to a critical area in Germany where they helped to knock out German factories & industry. John Jeckovich saw a lot of battles besides the Battle of the Bulge! John was the GI that had the bolt cutters that opened up the gates to Dachau, and several other concentration & POW camps.
