Silent Lune
Silent Lune is an alternative rock solo project founded by Roger Chávez, a Mexican musician and composer from Tijuana, BC. His music combines elements of grunge, post-punk, and indie rock, with lyrics that explore themes such as loneliness, love, rebellion, and hope.
SL has released 3 EPs: Silent Lune EP (2008), Melatona (2010), and Soft Decay (2014). Soft Decay was released by Class Music/Dragora Records, making it the official debut. Also released several singles, including "Burning Fuel," "Young Turks," and "Letters (to you)".
Roger's most successful song to date is "Last Call," which has garnered over 210,000 streams on Spotify. SL has played several festivals and venues in Mexico and the US, receiving praise from critics and audiences for its original sound and live energy.
Since April 2023, Silent Lune has been releasing singles from his new album The Scene, which will be released on March 28th, 2025. Currently, the Christmas single "Forgive Me Santa" was released on 11.29.24.
