Golden Gate Design & Furniture Co. is a small, family-run company in San Francisco that handcrafts limited edition artisan furniture and gift items from historic steel off the Golden Gate Bridge. Specifically, our pieces are crafted from pedestrian handrail that was placed on the bridge during its construction in the 1930s, then removed due to weathering in 1993. From this historic material, we create both bespoke limited edition furniture as well as smaller gifts and décor accessories.
Since we are working with a finite amount of historic steel, each of our designs are numbered and come with a Letter of Authenticity. Our designs range from table lamps and photo frames to small accent tables, large dining tables, and headboards. We also have a line of smaller gift items (bracelets, pendants, cufflinks, tie clips) that make unique personal gifts, as well as paperweight and bookend designs that provide a more substantial gift idea for the person who has everything.Vlog / 라이프스타일
