Maja Francis
Maja Francis is one of Sweden’s most beloved and distinctive artists, often described as “a daughter of Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper, and Tori Amos dressed in pink cowboy boots.” She broke through in 2021 with her acclaimed debut album A Pink Soft Mess, which earned nominations for both a Grammis and the Nordic Music Prize and established her as a truly unique voice in modern pop.
Following the success of her second album Hello Cowboy, Maja spent 2024–2025 touring extensively across Europe, including as special guest on First Aid Kit’s European tour. With singles like “Hello Cowboy,” “Manic Pixie Dream Girl,” and “Low,” she continued to push her blend of pop, country, and alternative music to new heights.
Maja is currently in the studio writing new music, with a new album expected later this year. The release will be followed by a tour planned for early 2027, marking the next chapter in her ever-evolving artistic journey.
