Welcome to the Sanford Autism Advocacy Group! We have the honor of empowering all stakeholders who touch the life of an autistic child...especially families like ours. Our goal is to move you from frustration and overwhelm to confidence and hope by advocating alongside you to persistently pursue what your child/student deserves at school.
At the Sanford Autism Advocacy Group, we offer over 25 years of experience as public school teachers/clinicians, IEP team members, Speech-Language Pathologists and neurodiversity allies. Most of us are also fellow parents of autistic children and can relate to the blessings and challenges of parenting a neurodiverse child. Our services include: IEP Advocacy, 1-1 Mentoring for all through the IEP process, school/community trainings, and more.
