Terrence Léon
Ever-evolving artist Terrence Léon is a singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas. His single “24 Hrs” released in 2020 has amassed over 100,000 on-demand streams, followed up by a well received and critically acclaimed EP, New Horizons, over Tim Curry production. Cementing his foundation in the relaxed, nostalgic aesthetic of traditional 90s R&B, and the edginess of early 2000s.
He describes his creative process as “dependent on the mood and what I’m attempting to create.” “Sometimes I start with a melody, sometimes I build my melody, I’ve even started with acapellas. I do my best to be obedient to the moment/song.” Terrence credits his musical approach to the need to isolate and insulate, even from himself at times - 'LOADING... themixtape' being a prime example.
