KOTR is your gateway to Haiti's iconic pop culture dance—Haitian Konpa Dancing. As part of our mission to spread global awareness of this vibrant dance style, we bridge the gap between the Haitian Konpa music industry and the wider public, including Haitian Student Organizations (HSOs) across the U.S.
Founded in 2008, KOTR started as a small concept with the vision of bringing more Haitian Konpa Dancing to TV, music videos, and dance events. By 2011, KOTR officially became a dance organization, offering services to Haitian event planners, nightclubs, restaurants, HMI bands, and HSOs throughout Florida.
Now, as KOTR Dance Studio, we're excited to teach you the art of Konpa through our channel! Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, we offer online workshops, live demonstrations, and exclusive talks on Konpa's role in the Haitian Music and Film industries.
