SITA
Sita Abellán (aka SITA) is a DJ, producer, and ever-evolving internet phenomenon who matrices music, fashion, and digital culture into a persona unlike any other. Crisscrossing runways and underground dancefloors for more than a decade, SITA’s distinct sound comes from her love of historical techno, drawing influences from the Eurohouse of the '00s, the Ruta Del Bakalao scene of ‘90s Valencia, the ‘80s Belgian new beat era, and modern Berlin techno.
As a DJ, SITA is at home playing for underground crowds in Ibiza’s most storied clubs (Hï Ibiza, DC-10) while also taking the stage at major festivals such as Secret Project, III Points, Sonar Mexico, and EDC. In 2022, she launched her own queer-friendly techno party, OUTOPIA, in Barcelona, booking some of techno’s most forward-thinking acts. “Expect visceral club tracks to make you sweat,” Resident Advisor wrote about one of the parties, who have chosen OUTOPIA as an editorial pick three times already.
