I'm Woo-Sung Shim and my mission is to document, disseminate, and educate the public – while exercising freedom of the press – and to ultimately ensure our public servants are working for the people, by the people.
I pursue my mission by primarily covering police and fire department incidents in Lake County, Illinois.
You'll find on-scene videos and photos of emergency incidents, newsworthy events, emergency vehicle responses, radio scanner audio, and more!
My content has been proudly used as an educational tool for both public servants and the general public. My content is also used as a tool of accountability for the public, giving them insight into how their public servants work through a camera lens.
